Grand Uniara is iconic and beautiful hotel at J.L.N road where they serve signature limited North Indian dishes. But i must have to admit, the food was soul satisfying 💆. We were here to celebrate a special family occasion and it was memorable coz of soothing ambiance and yummy food.
Note: this review is completely based on vegetarian north Indian food.
Finest preparation of black lentils that i have tasted.
Smooth aftertaste coz of perfect creamy textured gravy which was freshly prepared and served hot in this small Kadhai! The salt was perfectly churned as we use to like. Every bite touched the soul of my taste buds.
Panner were fresh and soft. You can feel the softness of it once you pick up a piece. It was suggested as spicy, but i felt it was mildly spiced. Although the texture and sponginess of the Paneer were good but dal Makhani did set up really high standards.
Impressive, the least expectation dish surprised everyone of us with its amazing sumptuous taste. It was mix vegetables cooked in little gravy, which was mildly spiced. Although its a heavy dish and enough to serve three but we finished it in no time. Yummy!
Finger licking food 👍, peaceful classy ambiance 👍 and but disappointed with slow service 👎.
High on spices, but it was yummy and valuable changed for the taste buds!
I am not a fan of roomali roti and i was right. Din’t like it. I have to start eating non-veg to like it a bit.
Service and Hospitality 😑
Though the staff was polite and courteous, the service was uberly slow. When the veggies were ready on table, we had to wait 10-15 minutes for breads, even for water refill some of us had to call and wait for long time. Also someone should be there and make sure, if we need anything. But after serving food, they just fly away and you have nothing to do, except waiting if you need anything. Well anyway!!
Breads (Naan and Butter Tandoori Roti) were fresh and perfectly tandoored 🤓 ! 👍
We ditched desserts coz we had this beautiful cake parceled from [Cake World, Tonk Road] on our table, but will be back sometime sure to try out other delicacies.
