Chaat + Delicious = Chaatelicious
The word ‘Chaat’ is dearly loved by all of us. It brings back so many memories of time well spent neither family and friends. It’s a category of food that hits practically every element that makes something craveable—sweet, sour, tangy, spicy, and crunchy. Chaat can be enjoyed anytime. It’s light enough to be eaten for breakfast or as an afternoon snack, but satisfying enough to take the place of lunch or dinner.
We stumbled upon Chaatelicious in Raja Park and as we already had it in my Zomato bookmarks, I thought what better time then now ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
They have most of the popular food items you’d expect from a Chaat wala like Pani Puri, Aloo tikki, dahi bade and the sort…But I wanted to try the CHAAT-E-TOKRI,
A lavish dish from the city of Nawaabs.
With CRUNCHY EDIBLE BOWL aka PANDORA BOX filled with scrumptious combination of so many complimentary ingredients that left me wanting more and my taste buds watery. What’s better than a snack offering an ENTIRE STREET FOOD EXPERIENCE in a bowl that you can savour?
This DAINTY POTATO STRAW BASKET was stuffed with hash brown, crispy potatoes chunks, boiled chick peas, wafers and a lot more. Finally garnished with seasoned yogurt, FLAVORFUL tangy sauces, pomegranates, shredded coconut, sev, bundi, murmure and coriander. A snack that you cant forget after eating. This savoury nests was too big and full of flavors, YUMMY 😋😋!
Also tried the crispy SPINACH PAKORAS, served with dahi, sev, murmure and chaat masala sprinkled over it. A crafty combo of pakoras and dahi chaat makes for a mouthwatering appetizer. It’s healthy but also not healthy but most definitely delicious. 😆😜
Unlike the thele-walas, they’ve kept their setup in a very hygienic manner which IMO is very crucial and important. So I’d keep this place in mind whenever I’m in vicinity and feeling hungry. Recommended to those who are craving to satiate their taste buds with chatpata snacks 😃
